Our breast surgeons offer clinical breast examinations, ultrasounds, breast biopsies and surgical procedures such as lumpectomies and mastectomies. They also offer nipple sparing mastectomies.
Breast surgery consultations and appointments are available Tuesdays from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
Our colorectal surgeons are at the forefront of advance technologies performing complex colon surgery for cancer and benign diseases. Most of our abdominal procedures are now done either laparoscopically or robotically. We currently apply the latest and least invasive methods of treating complicated conditions as colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease to benign conditions as fistula, hemorrhoids and fecal incontinence. Most conditions can be treated in the office without surgery.
Colorectal surgery consultations and appointments are available Mondays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 5 pm.
General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal diseases including stomach, small intestines, colon and gallbladder. Management of hernia, breast and hemorrhoidal disease are also included.

Hematology and Medical Oncology
The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology offers the most up-to-date diagnostic evaluations and treatment modalities for cancers as well as benign and malignant hematology disorders. Our service is geared particularly to the healthcare needs of the Lower Manhattan population with its diverse ethnic populations in Chinatown, the Lower East Side and the Financial District.
Consultations and appointments are available the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Liver Cancer and Liver Surgery
Mount Sinai’s Liver Cancer Program is the largest in the United States, seeing over 400 new patients with primary liver cancer each year. The Liver Cancer Program provides interdisciplinary treatment to patients with liver cancer at all stages. Under the direction of leading experts in both clinical and translational liver cancer research, we offer an array of clinical trials that enable our patients to have access to the latest treatments that are being developed to fight this deadly disease.
Appointments are available Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm.
Liver Disease and Liver Transplantation
Mount Sinai offers consultative care in the management of liver diseases including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, fatty liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cirrhosis, liver cancer, and alcoholic liver disease. Our hepatologists work with a mulitidisciplinary team in the evaluation and management of patients undergoing liver transplantation and treatment for liver cancer.
Consultations and appointments are available every Monday from 8.30 am to 12:30 pm. Appointments for transplantation are available the 1st and 3rd Wednesday and the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.
Our neurologists are experts in treating neuromuscular diseases, including neuropathies, myopathies, radiculopathies, plexopathies, motor neuron diseases, and myasthenia gravis. They also perform comprehensive diagnostic tests to neuromuscular patients, including NCS/EMG, muscle and nerve biopsies, and skin biopsy with intraepidermal nerve fiber density evaluation.

The Mount Sinai orthopedic service provides comprehensive care for arthritis, fractures and all problems or injuries involving the musculoskeletal system. We specialize in hip replacement, knee replacement and arthroscopic surgery. We also treat shoulder, elbow, hand, and foot problems. We have been serving the Chinese community for more than 27 years.
Orthopedic surgery consultations and appointments are available Monday afternoons from 1 pm to 4 pm, two Saturdays each month from 9 am to 4 pm, and by appointment for emergencies.

Mount Sinai's highly-trained team of rheumatology experts offers specialized care for a range of conditions, including inflammatory arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and Sjogren syndrome, as well as osteoarthritis, inflammatory muscle disease, amyloidosis, and related conditions. Our experience in managing complex disease has made us a tertiary referral destination. Our research and clinical trials enable us to also offer certain emerging therapeutics not available elsewhere.

The Division of Surgical Oncology at Mount Sinai is a high volume cancer center with expertly trained surgeons who are committed to providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and individualized patient care. We manage and treat a wide range of cancers such as pancreatic, hepatobiliary, gastric, melanoma, soft tissue sarcomas, and peritoneal malignancies. Our surgeons have high level of expertise in liver cancer and stomach cancer, and they integrate both highly advanced minimally invasive and open surgical procedures including esophagectomy, gastrectomy, hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), liver resection, pancreatic resection (whipple, distal pancreatectomy), splenectomy, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and transarterial chemoembolization (TACE).
