What's New in Treatment of Immune Disorders?
Our immunologists remain on the cutting edge of research. They have participated in the study of new treatments for many conditions including Crohn’s Disease and rheumatoid arthritis. Right now, they are investigating the root causes of primary immune deficiency disease, inflammatory bowel disease, food hypersensitivity, food-related anaphylaxis, and allergic dermatitis.
Members of the AI-FPA are also developing new strategies for treating food allergies, including working with recombinant protein engineering and plasmid DNA.
