The Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) at Mount Sinai has a dedicated Vascular Medicine section, led by Dr. Jeffrey Olin, which sees inpatients and outpatients. Dr. Olin is a nationally-known expert in vascular medicine, and particularly in fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD). He has extensive experience in the management of FMD, and collaborates closely with colleagues in Interventional Radiology for both diagnosis and treatment of this disease. There is an active, vascular laboratory, where ultrasound studies are performed by technologists. Over 6,000 studies were performed last year.
The Cardiovascular Medicine FPA is open from 8am until 6pm, Monday through Friday.
