Some of the most common treatments we provide include:
- Teeth Whitening
- Dental Crowns
- Dental Bridges
- Dental Implants
- Management of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ)
- Wisdom Teeth Extraction
- Reconstructive Oral Surgery (i.e. cleft lip and palate, facial trauma, etc.)
With a history of more than 100 years of service, The Department of Dentistry has consistently been at the forefront of advances in the dentistry field. We were among the first to employ the expanded research and use of local anesthetics and antibiotics for treating patients. Current research efforts are focused on stem cells found in baby and wisdom teeth. Gregory Chotkowski, DMD, Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is leading these research efforts with the goal of discovering potential benefits for craniomaxillofacial regenerative therapies and a range of illnesses, including neurological and cardiac diseases.
