Motility Testing
For undiagnosed patients and patients with troubling symptoms such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), swallowing disorders, chronic constipation, chronic abdominal pain, fecal incontinence, intestinal pseudo-obstruction, and unexplained nausea and vomiting, we offer a range of high-tech services under the banner of motility testing to aid in diagnosis.
Among the diagnostic tools used in motility testing at GI-FPA are:
- 24-hour pH testing
- Anorectal manometry
- Esophageal manometry
Each of these motility tests and services is designed to help us arrive at a definitive diagnosis for troubling or previously undiagnosed symptoms.
