The Division of Pediatric Nephrology cares for patients that range in age from newborns to young adults. We see patients with all types of kidney conditions, hypertension, and a range of urinary system problems. The practice is one of the few in the country to offer a comprehensive program dedicated to the care of children with kidney failure. This program also provides all the modalities of dialysis for inpatients and outpatients. We proudly provide between 15 and 20 kidney transplants each year to children from the region through the Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute (RMTI). Our pediatricians in the Pediatric Nephrology Faculty Practice Associates are staff members of the Mount Sinai Hospital and faculty members at the Icahn School of Medicine.
