The Mount Sinai Asthma Program
The Mount Sinai Asthma Program is committed to providing comprehensive treatment for adults with asthma that incorporates the very latest research into the causes and effective management of the condition. One important element of the Program is our recognition that asthma is a heterogeneous disorder with a variety of different clinical presentations and mechanisms. This heterogeneity means that not all medications work well for all patients. Using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, our team of pulmonologists and other asthma specialists work with patients to develop personalized care plans which include appropriate pharmacotherapy, treatment of conditions that can complicate and worsen asthma, and education on proper care techniques so that patients can lead full and active lives.
U.S. News and World Report ranked our respiratory disease programs among the top in the nation. Read more
