    Clinical Interests: Kidney cancer, Kidney stones, BPH, Adrenal Masses and Prostate Cancer.

    Dr. Levinson is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery, within the Department of Urology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He received his bachelor's degree at the University of California at Berkeley, his master's degree at Georgetown University, and subsequently his Medical degree at New York Medical College where he graduated at the top of his class. He went on to complete his urologic surgery training at Columbia University and followed this with a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.  His focus in on applications of robotics and laparoscopy to urology, specifically focused on kidney, adrenal and prostate cancers. He also has an active interest in the modern management of kidney stones and benign prostatic hypertrophy.

    He has written a number of book chapters, peer-reviewed publications, serves on the editorial board of multiple journals and has presented his research at multiple international meetings. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association as well as an Overseas Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (London, UK). He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology.
